As per the MHT CET 2018 Seat allotment procedure, Currently, the DMER offers 15 percent of seats are contributed to All India Quota. The seats contributed to the central pool scheme are filled by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare from Central Government, New Delhi.

The scheme for MH CET 2018 Seat allotment procedure will be published on the DMER official website in the form of a brochure.
Counseling is provided only for a limited number of merit students to help them make choice in the preferences they have to provide. MHT CET 2018 Seat Allotment will be made centrally based on the MHT CET 2018 merit list.

Students will be provided with preference forms at their Regional Center and they have to fill it and submit it back to the same office. MHT CET 2018 Seat Allotment will be basis the merit list and availability of seats in the colleges provided in the preference list by candidates.
The allotment takes place in two or more rounds depending on a number of vacant seats after each round. Students do not need to fill any preference forms for subsequent rounds and their original preference list will be considered as valid till all vacant seats are filled.
After the first round candidates who have already been allotted a seat but not as per their higher preference will be allotted a seat as per their higher preference unless they have already filled in the Status Retention form.
